"I've included a quote I've loved since I saw it posted on a classroom door:

People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous of you. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. For, you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It never was between you and them, anyway. ~Version of a quote usually attributed to Mother Teresa

NBC goes to bullpen, replaces Costas with Lauer

Bob Costas has battled valiantly, but the Olympic anchor is handing off to Today's Matt Lauer as he deals with an infection that has spread to both eyes.

Costas called Lauer on the show Tuesday morning to let him know, according to USA Today.

Asked by Lauer how he was holding up, Costas said "Well, even worse than when you saw me this morning, Sochi time. So, reluctantly, I was trying to throw a complete game here, but I think we're going to have to go to the bullpen. I don't know if you'€™re aware of this or not, but you're Mariano Rivera, at least tonight."
